Our Video at Expo 2010 Shanghai China!!

Two SODE Production’s video is currently featuring in New Zealand Pavilion at EXPO 2010 Shanghai China. ‘One Promise’ and ‘Aotearoa Jasmine’ was produced by SODE Production in 2008 and 2009, the theme of both video was about the relationship between Kiwi and Chinese.
Make sure you check it out if you going to the EXPO. New Zealand Pavilion is in Zone B

South Island, we are coming!

Christchurch Cathedral, Lake wakatipu and beautiful sceneries surrounding Christchurch and Queenstown have always attracted us. As interesting and worthwhile as it would be to create a film display conventional Christchurch and Queenstown scenes and they are also great locations for lovely wedding videos. Yup, we will fly to the capital of the South Island next week to film pre wedding videos for love birds, and stay there for a week (17th -23rd Oct).
We are very excited to do wedding videos in Christchurch and Queenstown; the cities offer unparalleled variety of sceneries. In contrast with Auckland, we might do some differences, and our HD camera would create magic there. We just can’t wait, and hope that we enjoy our stay in the heavenly cities.

Post Wedding Show thoughts

The Wedding Show on the 14th September was our first show ever. Thanks to our lovely team who worked very hard to beautify the stall.
We also premiered our pre-wedding video on the Show. The two pre-wedding videos we premiered were Save The Date video and Love Journey video.
Grace & Devin’s Save The Date video received a lot of positive feedbacks, and many couples were really interested in doing something like this. Mind you, we are probably the first and only wedding video studio to do Save The Date video in NZ. Melissa and Ezra’s Love Journey video were a hit too. Many loved the colour and the edit. So many people commented on how cute the couples are. (unfortunately we don’t sell “cuteness”, however, we do have confidence that our camera operators and editors know the magic of making every couple look even cuter on camera~ as oppose to the camera myth, where everyone gains 5 pounds mysteriously on camera)
Don’t forget the Save The Date video and Love Journey video are all part of our newest package – Destiny Video.
Will talk more about how we do the Save The Date video/Love Journey video and what it takes to make a good one next time.
